Cairngorms ski Pictures Photographs
This is a picture of some of the displays in the Cairngorms Mountain Museum Display. It is of the clothes which would have been traditionally worn for outdoor walking at the start of the 20th Century.
You will notice from the picture that the ski clothes of today, with their figure hugging properties, are totally different from these times. The clothes for use on the ski slopes were heavy and unwieldy.
