St Andrews Pulpit Picture
St Salvators College Chapel
This is a picture the pulpit taken from St Salvators College Chapel, University of St Andrews Scotland. The pulpit is where the main preaching would have taken place from but the front of the pulpit was also used for the baptisms.
Probably designed around 1900 its intricate design shows the key figures in the establishment of St Andrews University in the Middle Ages (1411,1412,1413 -take your pick-yes it really is that old!)
