McCaig's Folly Oban Pictures Photographs

This is a picture of McCaig's Folly in Oban. Normally this is pictured from the front looking up towards the folly but this photograph views the folly from the rear.

McCaig's Folly was built between 1897 and 1900. Perched high on a hill overlooking Oban it is supposed to represent a copy of the Coliseum in Rome. Inside the hollow shell lies a public garden which is where this photograph of the folly was taken.
