HISTORICAL BRITISH REGIMENTAL UNIFORMS picture photograph

This is a picture/ photograph of the uniform of the Scottish Rifles along with other items from the time (19th Century). The Cameronians (Scottish Rifles) was an infantry regiment of the British Army and the only Rifle Regiment amongst the Scottish regiments of infantry. It was formed in 1881 by the amalgamation of two other regiments: the 26th Cameronian Regiment (1689) and the 90th Perthshire Light Infantry (1794). This picture showing a very early historical uniform of this regiment.
