PICTURE GALLERY Kelburn Castle Photograph Kelburn Castle, which is home to the Earls of Glasgow is in a commanding position on a hill overlooking Largs. Beside a spectacular glen and waterfall, half a mile from the sea it overlooks the islands of the Firth of Clyde. It has been in the Boyle family for over 800 years, probably making it the oldest castle in Scotland to have been inhabited by the same family.
