Horse Drawn Funeral Hearse

Unfortunately death comes to us all at some time. In Scotland there are a large number of traditional ceremonies and customs associated with death. This is a picture of a funeral hearse which was used to take the body from the church to the churchyard/ grave side. We have of course moved into the twentieth century and these are no longer in use (except for a state funeral or someone whose family wishes to make a real impact)
