FALKLAND PALACE PICTURES

The Royal Palace of Falkland was the country residence of the Stuart kings and queens when they hunted deer and wild boar in the Fife forest. Built between 1501 & 1541, the Palace is an extremely fine example of Renaissance architecture with adjoining magnificent gardens.

Presently run by the national Trust for Scotland
