Culzean Castle and Country Park is managed by the National Trust and is the most visited property and one of the major tourist attractions in Scotland. Robert Adam's built the castle in 1772-1790 for David, 10th Earl of Cassillis on a cliff-top site associated with the Kennedy family since the late 14th century.
