Russian Sheet Cake
This is a recipe for a simple tea cake recipe with butter, eggss, and other ingredients. These tea cakes are similar to sugar cookies.

- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 cups flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp almonds
- 1/2 tbsp cloves
- 2 tbsp baking powder
- Salt to taste
In a small bowl combine lemon juice, powdered sugar and 2 eggs whites. Beat them well and set aside to thicken. We will use this mixture for icing.
In another bowl combine eggs and sugar. Mix them well. Add honey, flour, baking powder, a pinch of salt and mix well to make the dough.
Take a baking dish and butter it. Add the dough to the dish. Roll out to 1 – 2 inch thick. Garnish with dry fruits if you wish.
Bake the cake for 15 min at 350F. Keep in fridge for 30 min.
Once it cools garnish with the icing and serve.
