pork Fried Noodles

This recipe starts with rice noodles and some pork fillet and end with a sizzling skillet entree.
For US to UK equivalents see this rough guide

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1/4 kg rice noodles
  • 300 g pork fillet
  • oil for cooking
  • 500 g broccoli
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp sugar

Method:

Boil the water and cook the noodles. Once the noodles are boiled, rinse them with cold water and drain. Add 2 tbsp of oil to prevent them from clumping and keep the noodles aside.

Combine sliced pork, oil and soy sauce and marinate for 3-4 hours.

Chop the broccoli and cook it in salted water.

Fry the pork until golden brown. Add the beaten egg and fry with the pork. Add the broccoli and fry for another 10 min.

Add the cooked noodles and stir fry for 5 min. Add the salt, pepper, fish and soy sauce. Mix well and stir fry for 2 more mins.

Serve hot with rice.

As with all recipes which involve cooking and baking a sensible approach must be taken especially when dealing with warm or hot (temperature) ingredients. If you are unable to take due care, please do not attempt to make any of these recipes. All recipes are tried at your own risk.
