Meat Balls

A delicious meatball recipe that works well as a main dish or appetizer. Made with ground lamb, onion, garlic, mint and other seasonings, these meatballs are cooked with chick peas and have a unique taste.

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 cup chick peas
  • 1 1/2 lb ground lamb
  • 1 grated onion
  • 1 cube chicken stock
  • 1 tsp pepper -
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon -
  • 1/4 tbsp crushed mint
  • 1 tbsp bread crumbs
  • water for cooking


Soak the chick peas in water overnight.

Make a paste of chick peas, onions, and spices. Donít add water.

In a bowl combine chick pea paste, meat and mix well. Make 1-inch balls.

Boil the meat balls in in chicken stock for 50 mins on low heat. The meat balls are ready to serve.

Alternatively, you can fry meatballs in olive oil.
