Russian Food and Drink Ideas
This is a meat dish which is cooked with kiwi fruit. This fruity flavour is offset by the pepper which adds the spicyness. More spices if desired can be added according to taste.

- Meat - 3 kg
- Kiwi - 1/2 Kg
- Salt to Taste
- Black pepper - 2 tbsp
Rinse the kiwi fruit, peel it and chop into small pieces. Rinse one piece of lamb, pork or beef, cut stripe the meat with a sharp knife leaving small pockets evenly over the surface. Place a small piece of fruit, some salt and black freshly ground pepper into each of the pockets.
Coat the stuffed meat with the kiwi fruit pulp and leave it overnight to marinade. When ready to cook (maximum 24hours) wrap it in foil and bake in an oven until cooked through. Serve with fresh or pickled fruit or a fruit salad.
