Green Peas with Tomato Sauce
This is an unusual but tasty curry with green peas. The tomatoes add a unique flavouring to the green peas. This is nice to have with rice or fried rice. Can be made more spicy by adding more spicy powders according to taste.

- Green Peas - 1 kg
- Tomatoes 250 gm
- Finely Chopped Onions - 2
- Water - 1 1/2 Cup
- Olive Oil - 150 ml
- Fresh dill chopped - 2 tbsp
- Salt and Pepper to taste
In a pan add olive oil and fry the chopped onions in the olive oil. Fry till the onions are tender. Add tomatoes and fry for 5 mins. Add the washed peas to the tomatoes and fry for another 3 mins. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add the dill. Mix well.
Fry for a further 2 mins then add water and bring the water to boil. Cover with a lid and on low heat cook until the peas and tomatoes are cooked. Serve with hot rice, Bread or pita.
