Cucumber and Crab Salad

This is a traditional Japanese salad recipe which is easy and quick to prepare.

Recipe Ingredients:

  • Cucumber - 1
  • Rice wine Vinegar - 1/2 Cup
  • Crab meat - 1/4 Kg
  • Sugar - 2 tbsp
  • Soya Sauce - 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste


Method:

Wash and cut cucumber into thin slices (rounds). Place salt over cucumber slices and set aside for 30 min. Whilst the salt should have absorbed most of the the liquid, squeeze cucumber slices to remove any excess. Mix vinegar, sugar, and soy sauce in a cup. Place crab meat and cucumber slices in a bowl and pour the dressing over and mix well.
