Broccoli and Beef

This delicious dish is very popular and marinating the beef in oil gives the taste to this recipe.

Recipe Ingredients:

  • Beef - 1/2 kg
  • Egg - 1
  • Salt to taste
  • Cooking wine - 1 tbsp
  • Corn flour - 1 tbsp
  • Water - 2 tbsp
  • Broccoli - 1 pound
  • Oil
  • Cooking Oil - 1 Cup
  • Soya Sauce - 5 tbsp
  • Sugar
  • Sesame Oil
  • Crushed garlic Cloves
  • Chicken Broth 1/2 Cup
  • Corn Starch - 2 tbsp


Method:

In a bowl add the sliced beef, salt, pepper, lemon juice and the items to marinade the beef. Keep aside for 2-3 hours to marinade. Add olive oil and mix well. In a deep frying pan add oil and deep fry the beef. Fry until the beef is cooked. Remove the beef and keep aside in a plate. Add 1 cup of water and boil it. Add the broccoli. Cover with a lid and cook until the broccoli is cooked. Drain the water. In a pan add oil and fry the finely chopped onions along with minced garlic. Fry for 2 mins. Add the vegetables which are chopped finely in to small pieces. Mix the beef with vegetables and fry for 5 mins. Add the sauce. Add cornstarch and mix thoroughly and to make the mixture thick. Serve hot.
