Forres has enjoyed regular success in local and national floral competitions including Britain In Bloom and Beautiful Scotland in Bloom over the years which considering its Northerly position is quite an achievement. . Forres has been involved in the Beautiful Scotland in Bloom competition since 1977 and in that time has enjoyed relative success.
