Picture Gallery Flintlock Rifles Days out in Scotland - Royal Museum in Edinburgh
This is a picture of some Flintlock Rifles taken at the Royal Museum in Edinburgh. The rifles date from 1700's and are part of a very small display showing arms and armour. These rifles would have probably been used for shooting small game/birds/animals and as such were regarded as sporting rifles.
